Latest Morgan Poll Releases

In February, support for the ALP is 50.5% on a two-party preferred basis, up 1% point since November 2020 and now ahead of the L-NP on 49.5% (down 1% point) according to the latest Morgan Poll on Federal voting intention.

Now 80% of Australians say they would be willing to be vaccinated if a new Coronavirus vaccine became publicly available, up 1% point since late January. In addition, 61% of Australians say mask wearing should be compulsory and 57% don’t want State borders to be completely open according to a special Roy Morgan SMS survey into Australian attitudes towards COVID-19.

The Labour/Greens government has increased its support to 58.5% of New Zealand electors in the first month of 2021, up 4% points since December. This is the highest level of support enjoyed by the new Labour /Greens alliance since agreeing to work together after the election. Support for the Labour Party has increased by 3% points to 47% in January.

The Labour/Greens government enjoys the support of 54.5% of New Zealand electors as 2021 begins, down 2% points since November. Although a clear majority of electors support the Labour/Greens alliance this is the lowest level of combined support for the two governing parties since March 2020. Support for the Labour Party is unchanged at 44% in December.
